No Rest for the Wicked Bosses — All Boss Fights and How to Beat Them

Updated 2026-06-03

Boss fights in No Rest for the Wicked are multi-phase encounters that test your stamina management, pattern recognition, and patience. Each boss has unique mechanics tied to the Pestilence corruption. This guide covers every boss available in Early Access and will expand with the 1.0 release.

Warden of the Marsh

The first major boss, found at the end of the Marsh of Echoes. Weak to fire damage. Phase 1: slow sweeping attacks with a giant club. Phase 2: summons poison pools from the ground. Stay mobile, dodge toward the boss (not away), and use fire arrows to interrupt poison attacks.

Corrupted Bishop

Found in the Cathedral of Bones. This is the hardest boss in Early Access. Phase 1: magic projectile spam and teleport strikes. Phase 2: summons three corrupted minions. Ignore the minions at your own risk — they heal the Bishop. Kill minions first, then focus the Bishop during recovery windows.

The Bishop's phase 2 charge attack can one-shot players with less than 60% health. Keep your health topped up and save your dodge for this specific attack.
